Painting Geishas | Behind The Scenes

This is the full photo shoot for the Tarakaan commission. We painted an abstract GEISHA MURAL onto a 50′ brick wall. Did not want to use random internet images, so I shot some of our own.

We decided not to do traditional geisha hair, makeup, or clothing, just wanted small hints of it (for a more feminine touch).

Fun shoot overall! Got some adorable studio portraits of the models. They’re best friends, so the shoot is pretty much capturing their interactions. Hope you enjoy!
