Please Note: These are older pieces from my portfolio since I’ve been focused more on producing art and photography the last few years. Thus said; I’m very aware of the trends regarding how websites are built, look and function in 2020 (again these are a bit oldskool/ classic CSS builds, lol)… I am however going back to my design roots again so please let’s chat if you need some visuals to work with. I’m still keeping a close network of amazing (back-end) web programmers I enjoy collabing with, as well as, a pile of awesome printers for any branding needs. Give me a shout!

Hey there – There’s a reply a did for someone a few comments down that has some helpful info (take a look =). Email me directly through the link on my about page if you have more questions. There are many answers to your questions. It really depends on how big you want to grow it or just keeping it simple. If you can find a comfortable platform for you to add content 1-3 times a week, that’s great (even once a month, it doesn’t have to be super often). However; the time you put into building your content, that’s on you. Web updates (adding the content to the site) should be quick and painless! =) Maybe the original build is a bit overwhelming but once it’s up, just cruise. I know this is off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?

I personally build my own websites. My background is in graphic design and web development. Over time; I gradually moved over to photography, art and writing (so I ended up always building my own sites since I knew how =).
You can do custom builds (prolly more pricey). There are a TON of platforms like Squarespace and Wix (prolly the cheapest/ easiest option if you aren’t website savvy). There’s also WordPress sites which I build mine in. If you’re aren’t that comfy with all of this, I’d suggest something like Wix or Squarespace. They are clean, user friendly, easy to update, and if you’t can’t build it yourself, someone could add your content for you (for not too much). The actual build can be intimidating, but adding content/ updating is pretty easy.
The price always depends on the amount of content you want, the functionality bells and whistles, yada-yada. It’s hard to give ballpark pricing without knowing the content volume or objective of the site (long term and short term). Hit me up if you need more help or guidance finding a good fit for your budget and needs. I’d be happy to help!
